UAV Training
UAV training Laos
Sivill Tech offers practical UAV and drone operation training for organizations and individuals in Lao PDR who need to build in-house drone capability rather than rely on external operators for every project.
Training covers safety guidance, basic and applied flight skills, and survey-specific use cases — the practical knowledge needed to operate a drone program responsibly, not just fly a single demonstration flight.
We built this program alongside our own drone survey services, so the training reflects how UAVs are actually used for land survey, site inspection, and construction monitoring work in Lao PDR, and includes technical operation support beyond the initial course.
Government agencies, engineering firms, and construction companies are common participants, since drone capability is increasingly relevant to land management and infrastructure projects across the country.
Training is delivered by the same team that runs Sivill Tech's own drone survey and Geoscan-backed geospatial work, so participants learn from people actively operating the technology, not a generic training curriculum.
Courses are run in small groups so instructors can give hands-on feedback during actual flights, rather than relying on classroom theory alone to prepare someone for fieldwork.
Participants leave with the practical skills to operate a drone safely for their own survey work, rather than a certificate alone — the flight time during training is the part of the course that actually builds competence.
We also advise participants on selecting equipment suited to their intended use case, since a drone built for aerial photography is not necessarily the right tool for a land survey program.
